Anxiety & Depression.

When things start to feel overwhelming

Anxiety and depression are experiences that many people go through at different points in their lives. They can feel overwhelming, confusing and, at times, difficult to put into words. You may find your thoughts racing, your energy feeling low, or a sense that things are harder than they used to be.

These feelings can affect many areas of life, including sleep, relationships, work and overall wellbeing. Therapy offers a calm and confidential space where you can begin to explore what is happening and feel supported.

You do not need to have a clear understanding of what is happening — we can gently make sense of it together.

How therapy can help.

In our sessions, we will explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences in a way that feels safe and manageable.

We may look at how anxiety affects the body, how thoughts can influence emotions, and how patterns may develop over time.

I use a gentle and supportive approach, drawing on different therapeutic ideas to help you better understand yourself. This can include becoming more aware of unhelpful thinking patterns and finding ways to respond to them with greater balance and compassion.
